Prior to joining GreenBlue as the Director of the Recycled Material Standard, Ross managed the Sustainability program at Wonder, a food-tech startup reimagining the in-home dining experience. Ross also was part of the Sustainability team at Humanscale where he developed net-positive office furniture and zero waste diversion programs. Ross is a graduate of the Manufacturing and Design Engineering program at Northwestern University.
Seeing the products he designed go to landfill waste was a wake-up call to design systems that allowed for sustainable transformation. When not working on these systems, you can find Ross collecting records, smoking meat, and having fun with his family in New Rochelle, NY.
What is your why?
One day I realized that our individual lives and efforts are very short compared to the long stretch of humanity and life on the planet. I believe that the challenges we face as a civilization will outlast us, and it is our responsibility to make as much positive change we can in our time, then hand off the work to future generations.
