GreenBlue and Parallel Sustainability are pleased to announce a public comment period for the Recycled Material Standard (RMS) Paper Module, which extends the RMS framework to encompass paper and paper-based materials. This module has been developed following the RMS Standard Development and Maintenance Policy and builds upon the foundation established by the existing RMS Framework and RMS Plastics Module. Many of the chain of custody requirements are set forth in the RMS Framework, and as such, readers are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with that document prior to reviewing the Paper Module.
We welcome input from all interested parties, including paper manufacturers, recyclers, converters, brands, certification bodies, and other stakeholders in the paper value chain. Comments should focus on the technical accuracy, clarity, and auditability of the proposed requirements.
