Elayna Simmons works as a technical specialist for Baerlocher USA where she interacts regularly with recyclers, converters, brands, and resin producers. She moved to Cincinnati from the Pacific Northwest to work with plastics recyclers because of her passion for the industry and her desire to jump in with both feet. She graduated from Western Washington University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics and Composites Engineering and a passion to keep learning through her career. Elayna was raised in the Pacific Northwest with a sense of importance for preserving the natural world and takes pride in her work helping the plastics recycling industry progress.
