Currently, Ashley is responsible for recycling feedstocks and closed-loop strategy at NOVA Circular Solutions. In this role, she collaborates with retailers and CPG companies to create circular packaging models where waste film streams are recycled into PCR content that can be incorporated back into consumer packaging. Prior to joining NOVA, Ashley gained 17 years of experience working with many of the world’s leading brands in sustainable packaging. She cultivated a diverse career through both technical and commercial roles, across multi-national companies and a start-up, and from leading global projects and teams spanning 6 continents. With a comprehensive background encompassing most of the packaging value chain—from brand owner (PepsiCo), converter (Amcor), material supplier (NOVA and Dow), and now recycler (NOVA Circular Solutions) – Ashley brings a unique and holistic perspective to the industry. Ashley’s areas of expertise include sustainable packaging marketing and development, mechanical and advanced recycling, bio-based and compostable plastics, and consumer goods product and packaging innovation. Over the course of her career, Ashley’s work has been recognized with a patent, a DuPont Packaging Award, an R&D 100 Award, a PepsiCo Chairman’s Award, and a Dow Pinnacle Award. She was also elected by her industry peers to serve on the Executive Committee of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition from 2020-2023. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, is fluent in Spanish, holds a 200-hour Yoga and Meditation Teacher Certification, and has traveled to over 50 countries.
